Any time I start Battle.net or any Blizzard games manually I get the following error:
'This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin 'windows'.'
I have uninstalled and re-installed Battle.net and it still happens.
I don't have any anti-virus software running.
OS is Windows 7 64-bit and is fully updated.

Have you tried going to where battle.net.exe is installed , right clicking , going properities then switching the compatibility to windows XP service pack 3 ?
Also turn on Show Hidden files :

Then go to your battle.net folder and hunt for hidden files. They'll be greyed out. Report when you find any and where they are.

I just tried that and still getting the error.
I also tried running it as administrator (with and without compatibility mode) and still get the error.

Just has a thought tho - so you have any friends that can get in fine and have a working battle.net install ?
Maybe you could get them to send their Battle.net.7113 and try transplanting it. Take a backup copy of the existing folder for science tho.

No worries, I appreciate you trying. I've been using the launcher since it was in beta and have never had a problem like this before...
I copied the battle.net directory from another computer, over-writing the folder on the bad computer and I'm still getting the QT error but it's slightly different now:

I'm sorry that you're having this issue. I just took a look at the logs, unfortunately there isn't any clear indication as to what is wrong, and the application seems properly installed. It might be that something else is interfering.
If you run the application from the default installation path (c:program files (x86)battle.net) does it work?
Also, the following steps will enable more verbose logging which may help in determining the cause of this problem.
Once you do this, run the app again to receive then error, and then submit logs again per the original instructions from Exeliran.

I took a look, but I didn't see the logs I was looking for. This is probably my fault, since I copied the instructions from another post. For your case, the qtlogging.ini file should go here: f:IainBattle.netBattle.net.7113QtProjectqtlogging.ini
The command line argument looked correct, however. Both need to be present to work properly. Can you try again?

I took a look, but I didn't see the logs I was looking for. This is probably my fault, since I copied the instructions from another post. For your case, the qtlogging.ini file should go here: f:IainBattle.netBattle.net.7113QtProjectqtlogging.ini
The command line argument looked correct, however. Both need to be present to work properly. Can you try again?

Weird, that is exactly where the file is saved.
